Polypropylene (PP) Sheets Specifications

Common Specifications: 1000×2000mm, 1220×2440mm, 1500×3000mm; Maximum customizable width 2500mm, length 6000mm. Supports ultra-large single-board processing without splicing.
Thickness: 10mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 80mm, 100mm. Maximum customizable thickness 300mm. The higher the thickness, the stronger the shielding effectiveness. Multiple layers can be stacked and assembled for use.
Color: Customizable
Dimensional Tolerance: Length/Width ±2mm, Thickness ±1mm Board surface is flat, density is uniform, free of air bubbles, voids, or filler agglomerations. Shielding performance is consistent across the entire board.
Processing Characteristics: Can be cut, drilled, slotted, edge-milled, and spliced. Supports recessed installation, frame installation, and wall lining shielding. Joints are tight with no shielding blind spots.

Basic Material Parameters

  1. Raw Material: Virgin homopolymer / copolymer polypropylene raw materials without recycled impurities. The sheet features dense and uniform structure, good toughness and moderate hardness. Different from inferior ordinary PP sheets, it has stable performance and zero impurities.
  2. Material Density: 0.90–0.92 g/cm³. Lightweight, lighter than PE, PVC and metal plates. Easy to handle, cut and install, effectively reducing load on equipment and base structures.
  3. Modified Formula Categories: General standard grade, acid & alkali resistant anti-corrosion grade, UV weather-resistant grade, flame retardant grade, toughened impact-resistant grade. Suitable for chemical anti-corrosion, food processing, environmental desulfurization, indoor & outdoor equipment lining, aquaculture and other working conditions.

Physical Weather Resistance, Anti-Corrosion & Anti-Sticking Parameters

  1. Operating Temperature Range: -10℃ ~ +100℃, short-term heat resistance up to 120℃. Better high-temperature resistance than HDPE sheets; no softening or deformation under high heat. Toughness slightly drops at low temperatures, not applicable for extreme cold heavy-load scenarios.
  2. Water Absorption Rate: <0.02%, extremely low water absorption. No water swelling, delamination or deformation after long-term immersion in water, acid-alkali solutions and sewage, with excellent dimensional stability.
  3. Surface Performance: Flat, smooth and pore-free surface, not easy to stick materials or accumulate dirt with good self-cleaning property. Ideal for storage and transportation of powder and water-based materials to reduce residual buildup.
  4. Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to most acids, alkalis, salt solutions, sewage and oil stains with outstanding chemical resistance. Rust-proof, mildew-proof and oxidation-proof, core material for chemical anti-corrosion and environmental equipment. Not suitable for strong oxidant media.
  5. Insulation Performance: Volume resistivity >10¹³ Ω·cm, excellent insulating property without conductive risks. Applicable for insulating backing plates of electrical equipment and outdoor insulating protective components.
  6. Weather Resistance: Standard grade for indoor use; UV-modified grade resists outdoor ultraviolet radiation to slow aging, discoloration and embrittlement, meeting light-duty open-air service requirements.

Working Condition Selection Criteria

  1. Lining for food, pharmaceutical and water purification equipment: Virgin food-grade homopolymer PP sheet, thickness 3–10 mm, non-toxic, odorless and pollution-free.
  2. Chemical pickling tanks, sewage pools, desulfurization anti-corrosion equipment: Copolymer anti-corrosion PP sheet, thickness 10–20 mm, acid & alkali resistant, corrosion-proof and high sealing performance.
  3. Indoor silos, powder conveying lining, light-duty backing plates: General standard PP sheet, thickness 5–15 mm, smooth anti-stick surface to cut material residue.
  4. Outdoor equipment protection, open-air anti-corrosion components: UV weather-resistant modified PP sheet, delays aging and fading to improve outdoor stability.
  5. Equipment & machine room protection with flame retardant requirements: Flame retardant modified PP sheet, complies with flame retardant safety standards to reduce fire hazards.

Dimension Specification & Machining Parameters

  1. Standard Thickness: 2mm, 3mm, 5mm, 8mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm. Thin sheets for lining and partitions; thick sheets for load-bearing pads, equipment shells and anti-corrosion structural parts.
  2. Standard Sheet Sizes: 1220×2440mm, 1000×2000mm, 1500×3000mm. Support custom irregular cutting, bending, drilling, welding and hot forming for all kinds of special-shaped components.
  3. Dimensional Tolerance: Length & width ±2mm, thickness ±0.5mm. Flat sheet without warpage, bubbles, pinholes or delamination, uniform thickness and high welding adhesion.
  4. Machining Features: Hot melt welding, bending, hole drilling and splicing available with dense crack-free welds. Simple processing technology for pickling tanks, sedimentation tanks, silo liners, equipment guards, assembly line pads and other products.

Core Mechanical Performance Parameters

  1. Tensile Strength: ≥28 MPa; copolymer PP reaches 30–35 MPa with stable tensile property, resistant to cracking or breaking during cutting, bending and friction pulling in operation.
  2. Compressive Strength (10% strain): ≥30 MPa, excellent compression resistance. Resists regular material extrusion and static equipment pressure without indentation or permanent deformation over long service.
  3. Charpy Notched Impact Strength: ≥40 kJ/m²; toughened modified grade exceeds 60 kJ/m². Good impact resistance against material collision and equipment bumps, stable performance at room temperature.
  4. Elongation at Break: ≥80%, excellent toughness with good deformation buffering capacity, adapts to minor equipment vibration and base deformation without brittle fracture.
  5. Hardness: Rockwell Hardness R85–95, uniform surface hardness, scratch & wear resistant, anti-grooving under material scouring, meets daily industrial requirements.

Service Life & Product Advantages
